Saving Money on Cards

It's garage sale season!

One of the things I buy at garage sales is greeting cards.  If they are in good shape and current (or cute and "vintage") and cheap enough, I will buy them to put in my stash of cards.  Anytime I find a great deal on cards I will buy them.  Why?  Because greeting cards are crazy expensive in the stores ($3-$4 apiece) and I am one of those weirdos who won't send an e-card.  Those don't count in my book.

Because I garage sale for cards, I have a LOT.

Here's how I store them.

It's a cheap card box from Michaels.  It has dividers:

It's also really plain.  I had my sizzix out today so I used some vinyl scraps to make a nice front for it.

It now looks nice sitting on my shelf!

If I do it again:

I wish the box was bigger.  I have my thank you cards in another box because this one isn't big enough.
